Safety Specialist

Job Description:

Under general direction, the Safety Specialist implements, manages, and monitors safety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHA and other applicable requirements. Evaluates the organization’s procedures, project sites, and equipment by conducting inspections to identify unsafe conditions and implement safeguards and solutions. A Safety Specialist ensures the organization complies with all current regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures. Collects data and reports on all safety and accident events. Making sure we are receiving the best rates for insurance. The Safety Specialist would also be responsible for all insurance/safety record keeping.
