Since 1997, Lee Mechanical has proudly partnered with Woodman’s Markets, beginning with our first project on their Kenosha store. Over the years, this collaboration has grown into a rewarding, long standing relationship that has enabled us to support Woodman’s expansion across Wisconsin and northern Illinois. From our work on new stores to renovations, we are grateful to be a trusted partner in Woodman’s journey to becoming one of the region’s leading grocery retailers.

Our partnership with Woodman’s has led us to work on 12 new stores and renovations of 7 others. Each project, from conception to completion, involves meticulous planning, teamwork, and innovation. We are privileged to collaborate with Woodman’s and Fox Arneson Inc. to manage the budget, perform BIM design, lead prefabrication, and ensure precise installations. From plumbing to ongoing maintenance, our Lee Mechanical team is dedicated to delivering top-notch service at every stage.

Working on Woodman’s stores has been both challenging and rewarding. One of the most complex aspects of each project is coordinating underground plumbing with refrigeration systems—a process that can be highly dynamic, right up to the floor pour. But through teamwork, advanced technology, and constant communication, we’ve been able to overcome these challenges and achieve outstanding results. Notably, with thousands of case drains installed across stores, we’re proud to say we haven’t missed a single one. This precision is a testament to the dedication of our superintendents, foremen, and our investment in the latest Trimble technology.

The latest addition to Woodman’s stores, the Racine location, is set for completion in September 2025. This new facility will include not only a grocery store but also a Lube Center and Car Wash—features that further demonstrate Woodman’s commitment to meeting their customers’ diverse needs. We are honored to play a role in bringing these unique additions to life and helping Woodman’s fulfill their mission of providing customers with the best service.
