We’re proud to be part of something truly meaningful this summer on Sunday, July 20!
Lee Mechanical is officially riding in the Friendship Circle Annual Bike Ride: Bike 4 Friendship, and we’re inviting our team, partners, and community to join us for this unforgettable experience.
Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or just looking for a fun, active day with the family, there’s a ride to suit your pace. Choose from a family-friendly 5K walk or ride, or take on one of the scenic 30, 60, or 100-mile routes through some of Wisconsin’s most beautiful bike trails. No matter which path you choose, you’ll be riding alongside fellow supporters for a cause that promotes inclusion, friendship, and empowerment for individuals with disabilities.
Your adventure begins at The Friendship Circle in Fox Point at 7:30 AM on July 20, with a delicious breakfast, bike mechanics on hand, and final instructions to get you ready for the ride.
Schedule of Events:
- 8:00 AM: 100-mile riders depart
- 8:30 AM: General festivities begin
- 9:00 AM: Community Send-Off Ceremony
Choose your preferred route and enjoy great food along the way!

About Friendship Circle
Friendship Circle is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities and their families through friendship, inclusion, and community engagement. Their mission is to create meaningful connections between volunteers and individuals with special needs, helping to foster self-confidence, social skills, and a strong sense of belonging. Through creative programming and community-building events, Friendship Circle empowers people of all abilities to feel seen, supported, and valued.
Bike 4 Friendship is more than a cycling event—it’s an opportunity to raise awareness and vital funds for the life-changing work Friendship Circle does every day. Riders will enjoy a fully supported experience with gourmet meals, snacks, and SAG vehicle assistance along the way. The energy of the day is unmatched, with friends and family there to cheer you on as you cross the finish line and celebrate the impact you’ve made.
To participate, long-distance riders (30, 60, or 100 miles) are asked to raise a minimum of $360, while those joining the 5K walk or ride have a $50 fundraising minimum. These contributions directly support the inclusive programs that Friendship Circle provides to individuals and families across the region. If you’d like to be part of the Lee Mechanical team, visit our team page to register or donate. During registration, be sure to select “Lee Mechanical” from the team dropdown so we can ride together and track our collective impact.
Not riding this year? Friendship Circle is looking for volunteers at rest spots, servers for food, and much more to help with this special day. If interested in volunteering or have a general question, please contact [email protected].
