KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • This year’s training maintained a strict focus on the construction industry’s “Focus Four” hazards: fall hazards, struck-by incidents, caught-in or between hazards, and electrocution risks.
  • These sessions play an important role in reinforcing best practices.
  • We also reviewed our Drive Safe fleet program.
  • To keep engagement high, we incorporated interactive elements throughout the sessions.

Our annual safety training brings our entire team together to reinforce that commitment and ensure every employee is equipped with the knowledge and tools to work safely and effectively.

This year’s training maintained a strict focus on the construction industry’s “Focus Four” hazards: fall hazards, struck-by incidents, caught-in or between hazards, and electrocution risks. In addition, we covered essential topics including PPE, ergonomics, power tools, material handling, aerial lifts, lockout/tagout (LOTO), rigging, signaling, and a full review of our safety policies and expectations.

With a workforce that includes both experienced field professionals and newer team members, these sessions play an important role in reinforcing best practices while helping those early in their careers build a strong foundation. Just as importantly, they create space for collaboration, allowing our team to share insights, experiences, and real-world scenarios that benefit everyone on the jobsite.

We also reviewed our Drive Safe fleet program, ensuring proper oversight of our fleet of more than 200 vehicles, and provided a company update highlighting performance, key initiatives, and future growth.

To keep engagement high, we incorporated interactive elements throughout the sessions, including live quizzes and team participation. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with strong engagement and meaningful takeaways across both sessions.

Through our quality assurance program and zero-accident philosophy, we remain focused on delivering consistent, high-quality results while managing risk and protecting our people. Our team also maintains certifications in First Aid/CPR, and rigging and signaling, ensuring every project is completed with the highest level of care and professionalism.

Our commitment to safety extends far beyond training. Lee Mechanical maintains superior safety standards through a robust commercial safety program. This dedication helps reduce our EMR, creating more opportunities to participate in elite construction projects throughout Southeast Wisconsin.

At Lee Mechanical, safety is not just a priority. It is a standard we live by on every project, every day.
