Marking 50 Years of Making a Difference
For Lee Mechanical, 50 years isn't just a moment to reflect on decades of service, growth, and relationships, it's an opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
As the company celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026, the focus isn't just on the past. It's on making a lasting impact for the future.
To mark this milestone, Lee Mechanical launched a 50th Anniversary Giving Initiative with an ambitious goal: raising $50,000 in support of organizations that are changing lives every day.
To amplify the impact, the Lee family committed to matching donations up to $50,000, doubling the difference this initiative could make. That meant every contribution, no matter the size, went twice as far.
The results of this effort were announced during the company's 50th Anniversary Celebration at the Baird Center in Milwaukee on June 20, bringing the community together to celebrate not just a legacy, but a shared commitment to giving back.

Supporting Causes That Matter
This year's initiative focused on nonprofit partners whose missions align closely with Lee Mechanical's values of compassion, service, and community impact. Each organization represents a different way to make a difference, from global health to local community care.

Smile Train
Providing life-changing cleft repair surgeries and essential care around the world.

Wisconsin Humane Society

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Make-A-Wish
Foundation

A Community That Showed Up
The generosity behind this initiative went well beyond a single gift. The Lee family matched $50,000 to kick off the initiative, and the Ruffolo family contributed an additional $25,000, setting the tone for what the evening's giving could accomplish.
Generous partners that each gave $1,000 or more in support of the cause included:
- Air Flow, Inc.
- Dooley & Associates
- I.O.V. Sigurd Lodge 30
- Porter Pipe & Supply
- RP Rents
- Sprinkmann Sons Corporation
- Starfire
- Trane
- Vertical Design Services
- Vizance
- Vyron
- Werner Electric Supply
Together with the Lee family's matching commitment, these contributions turned a night of celebration into a night of impact, supporting causes that reach children, families, and communities well beyond Wisconsin.
"Fifty years in business has taught us that success isn't just measured in revenue or square footage; it's measured in the difference we're able to make for people who need it most. This initiative is our way of saying thank you, not just to our team and partners, but to the communities that have supported us every step of the way," reflected Chairman & CEO Bob Lee, Jr. on why giving back has always been part of the company's story.
A Legacy of Giving Back
The giving initiative reflects something that has been part of Lee Mechanical's culture since its earliest days: the belief that success comes with the responsibility to give back. It's a value the company has carried through 50 years in business, and one that leadership sees as central to what comes next.
As Lee Mechanical looks ahead to the next 50 years, this initiative is a reminder that growth and generosity go hand in hand, and that the company's success is measured not only in projects completed, but in the communities it helps along the way.
Thank you to everyone who gave, celebrated, and helped make this milestone one for the record books.
