Now a 1st-year apprentice, she thrives on the active nature of the job and the satisfaction of seeing ductwork seamlessly integrate into building systems. Working on the Microsoft project has been a game-changing experience, and she’s eager for what’s ahead.
Lexi DeGroot
Sheet Metal Journeyperson
Lexi’s career began in 2019, choosing an apprenticeship over college. After joining Lee two years ago, she’s gained hands-on experience on major projects like the Baird Center, completing her apprenticeship with Local 18. Now, she’s a skilled journeyperson ready to take on bigger opportunities.
