Project Overview

Advent Tool & Manufacturing Inc., a manufacturer of high-precision tooling products, is moving its headquarters from Antioch, Illinois to a new, 25,000 sq. ft. industrial building located in Salem Lakes, Wisconsin

This new location will allow the manufacturer to expand operation for its 23 current employees. “The state (of Wisconsin) is an ideal location for our business, providing a stable and business-friendly environment to support our growth plans,” Advent owner and president, Jim Hartford, said in a press release.

Lee’s team of experts were an integral part of this project from start to finish. Using their experience with Trimble Robotic Total Station technology, Lee worked closely with the customer to design-build and acquired approvals from the state department. Lee’s experience using Trimble technology for layout and installation enabled their team to finish the project efficiently and accurately.

“This was a well-coordinated project by general contractor Riley Construction. Everything has gone like clockwork and by the numbers,” said Lee VDC Manager, Ron Morris. “On-time and on-budget – just the way Lee likes it.”

Lee Mechanical managed all of the plumbing service for this new location and was responsible for:

  • Building shell
  • Roof drains
  • Underfloor sanitary and water
  • Office and warehousing plumbing
