Wisconsin’s snow and freezing temperatures are no problem for Lee Mechanical, as the company works with BayCare Orthopedics in Green Bay, Wisconsin to bring their 4-story project out of the ground in winter.
According to BayCare Orthopedics, this new 125,962 sq. ft., $40 million facility will house their orthopedic practice, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, Aurora BayCare Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, a rooftop track, CrossFit of Green Bay, a coffee shop, and multiple patios.
Up to ten Lee expert technicians will be responsible for the location’s electrical service, including:
- Two 2,000a 480v services
- A back-up emergency system consisting of three 500kW diesel generators
- Switchboards and automatic transfer switches
- A complete fire alarm system along with nurse call
- Lee is also working closely with the client to keep their budget and the environment in mind by installing a complete LED lighting and lighting control system with dimming capabilities and occupancy sensors.
“We are proud to say this is the first of many potential projects in the Green Bay and surrounding areas,” shared Ruffolo.
“The cold weather provides some challenges, but our team is dedicated to keeping the client’s timelines with advanced preparation and forecasting.” -Frank Ruffolo, Lee Executive Vice President
