My name is Mark Hofer, and I’m a Master Plumber with Lee Mechanical. I’ve been in the plumbing trade for many years and have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across Wisconsin.

I handle everything from new commercial builds to major renovations. Plumbing is at the heart of any facility, so I work on water distribution, waste systems, and specialty piping that keep buildings functional and safe.

Every day is different, which is one of the things I enjoy most. Some days I’m on-site installing new systems, other days I’m troubleshooting issues or overseeing inspections. A big part of my role also involves guiding apprentices and helping them build their skills.

I enjoy the problem-solving side — figuring out the best way to approach a challenge and then seeing it through to completion. It’s satisfying to walk away knowing the system will serve people for years to come.

We rely on everything from traditional plumbing tools to modern technology like laser levels and digital measuring equipment. The mix of old-school skills and new innovations makes the trade constantly evolving.

Lee has a strong culture of teamwork and professionalism. Everyone supports each other, and leadership values the quality of the work as much as the people doing it. That creates an environment where you can do your best work.

Plumbing is essential — every building depends on it. I take pride in knowing that my work directly impacts people’s health, comfort, and safety. Plus, it’s rewarding to teach and see others grow in the trade.
