Jeff Reiter is the Plumbing Superintendent at Lee Mechanical, where he has built a 36-year career overseeing everything within the plumbing division — from single-day client calls to multi-year projects on a much larger scale. With his mom among Lee's earliest employees, Jeff grew up alongside the company and the Lee family, watching it grow from a small family business into the contractor it is today. He takes pride in mentoring a crew that spans youth apprentices to seasoned journeymen, passing on the knowledge that keeps Lee successful on every project.

As of March 2026, it's been 36 years.

The projects I'm involved with cover everything within the plumbing division. They range from single, one-day projects where we're taking care of a client to multi-year projects on a much larger scale.

Growing up with my mom working at Lee, it was kind of as though I had a second family - I grew up with the other Lee brothers. Seeing the company grow from a small family business to where it's at today has been very exciting. It's been challenging but very rewarding to watch that growth that's taken place. The thing that hasn't changed in all that time is the attention to detail and the care Lee has for their customers.

The manpower we have within the plumbing division ranges from very green, limited-experience youth apprentices all the way up to very seasoned journeymen and foremen. The nice part about having that wide range of experience and skill level is being able to pass on the knowledge that's required for Lee Mechanical to be successful in every project we undertake.

    Ben Quartemont is a Technology Specialist at Lee Mechanical, where he builds Revit families, design automations, and internal tools that help the company's coordinators work faster. He collaborates closely with teams to find their pinch points and design solutions that boost efficiency. That work led to Track and Stack, the new inventory system he developed for Lee's Caledonia fabrication and logistics facility. For Ben, the most impactful part of the job is getting to help people every day, troubleshooting alongside them so they can do their best work.

    Heather Ladwig is the Controller at Lee Mechanical, where nearly five years overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll have made accurate financial data and dependable deadlines part of the daily routine. No two days look the same, but the focus stays constant: keeping the financial side of every project running smoothly and supporting the accounting team. What Heather enjoys most is problem solving, digging into issues and building new processes that make the department more efficient and prevent problems down the road.

    Mark Rogers works in the Yard and Warehouse division at Lee Mechanical, where for a little over two years he's handled scheduling, logistics, unloading trucks, and doing whatever it takes to make his coworkers' days easier. His favorite part of the job is the people — a busy crew that always lends a helping hand and still finds time to laugh while getting the work done. Mark takes pride in serving the company's 400-plus employees, getting them what they need when they need it, and keeping everything running smoothly through clear communication.
