"What I enjoy most is working with a crew that takes pride in the job — everyone’s pushing for the same goal."

My name is Brett Cadman, and I’m a Sheet Metal BIM / VDC Specialist with Lee Mechanical. I’ve been with the company for several years and enjoy working on projects that keep facilities across Wisconsin running smoothly.
I mainly work on fabricating ductwork and fittings for commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Each project is a little different, which keeps the work challenging and interesting.
A day in the shop usually starts with reviewing the drawings and planning out the cuts. From there, I’m shaping, fitting, and assembling pieces that will be installed in the field. It’s hands-on work that requires attention to detail from start to finish.
The teamwork. I enjoy being part of a group that supports each other and takes pride in turning out quality work.
I use everything from plasma cutters and brakes to shears and hand tools. The combination of traditional skills and modern shop technology helps us work efficiently while keeping quality high.
Lee gives us the tools, training, and support to do the job right. The focus on both people and quality makes it a place where you can build a strong career.
They’re hardworking and dependable. Everyone takes pride in what they do, and that makes the shop a great environment to be part of.
I like working with my hands and seeing the end result of what we’ve built. There’s a lot of satisfaction in knowing the pieces we fabricate will serve people for years.
I’d say it’s a great opportunity. You’ll gain skills, work with good people, and be part of a team that values quality and craftsmanship.
