A Day in the Life with Casey Davis

Casey Davis , Sheet Metal Superintendent

Casey Davis is a Sheet Metal Superintendent at Lee Mechanical, where six years on the job have him leading problem solving, fabrication, and production across job sites. He takes the most pride in the team he's helped build on the sheet metal side and the growth they've all had together. Casey is energized by the future of the trade and the chance to help apprentices and young people coming up through the ranks reach goals they never thought possible.

"Let's think about the next 50 years and how we can leave it better than we found it, and continue this legacy at Lee Mechanical."

My day to day - well, first of all, I put my bibs on in the morning. From there, it's problem solving, fabrication, and production on job sites.
What I'm most proud of here at Lee Mechanical is the team we've developed on the sheet metal side and the growth we've all had together - and the way that affects the apprentices and the young people coming up through the ranks.
I think part of what makes Lee Mechanical's growth so amazing is that we kind of have the underdog mentality. A lot of people thought we could not accomplish what we have accomplished over the years, and it's all because of the team and everybody coming together for one common goal.
What excites me most about my job is the future. There are so many great young people in the trades accomplishing goals they never thought they would achieve, and it not only helps Lee Mechanical grow as a company, it helps people grow in the community and in their personal lives.
What I would say to someone thinking about working at Lee Mechanical is go for it. Lee's commitment to developing the future and promoting within is uncanny.
