"I like that every day brings something different. There’s always a new challenge, and I’m constantly learning."

My name is Sam, and I’m an electrician at Lee Mechanical. I’ve been in the trade for several years and have had the chance to work on a wide variety of projects.
I work on commercial and industrial electrical systems, from new construction wiring to upgrades and repairs. Every project is a little different, and that keeps the job interesting.
A typical day starts with reviewing the plans and prepping materials. From there, I might be running conduit, pulling wire, or testing systems to make sure everything is safe and up to code. No two days look exactly alike.
The problem-solving aspect is what I enjoy most. It’s rewarding to figure out solutions, especially when you’re working as part of a team to get a project finished.
Multimeters, conduit benders, and wire pullers are all regular tools in my day. Technology in the trade is always improving, which makes our work safer and more efficient.
Lee has a strong team atmosphere. You know you can rely on your coworkers, and leadership gives you the trust and support you need to do the job right.
They’re hardworking, dependable, and fun to be around. The camaraderie on the job site makes even the long days go smoother.
I love that I get to keep learning. There’s always new technology and new challenges, so you never stop growing as an electrician.
I’d encourage them to go for it. You’ll gain valuable experience, work alongside skilled people, and be part of a company that really cares about its employees.
