A Renovation Tailored to Meet the Unique Requirements of a Collegiate Nursing Program
Delivering Excellence in Plumbing for an Educational Hub
This Marquette University College of Nursing building, spanning 21,845 square feet, is strategically located in one of the most bustling business parks in Pleasant Prairie.
Partners in Design, along with TEMCo Contracting from Lake Zurich, IL, undertook the transformation of this facility into an educational hub for a collegiate nursing program.
The total project cost was approximately $2 million. This investment underscores the importance and scale of the project, promising state-of-the-art facilities for the incoming nursing students.
“We’re always honored to work on school projects, but the current demand for nurses elevates the importance of this project. In the face of prolonged lead times, labor shortages, and a tight 12-week timeframe for a 22,000 sq ft project, we choose a proven winner. When precision is paramount and there’s no margin for error, we rely on Lee Mechanical. They consistently demonstrate reliability, fairness, honesty, and punctuality.”
– Peter Wisniewski, Manager at TEMCo Contracting
Lee Mechanical executed a full-scale revamp of the building’s plumbing infrastructure. This renovation was not merely a standard upgrade – it was specifically tailored to meet the unique requirements of a collegiate nursing program. It’s essential to ensure that the plumbing system adheres to the high standards and specific needs of such a program, guaranteeing both the efficiency of classes and the safety of students.
Considering that classes were set to begin in the early fall of 2023, the project timeline was strict. This posed its own challenges, with every phase demanding meticulous planning, thorough execution, and rigorous quality checks.
