Lee Mechanical is pleased to have been awarded a contract with Ta Chen, 8509 – 109th Street in Pleasant Prairie. Ta Chen produces stainless steel pipes and fittings and the project Lee is contracted for will allow Ta Chen to expand their distribution capacities in Pleasant Prairie.

The general contractor for this 240,000 square foot expansion project is FCL out of Chicago, Illinois. Started in October of this year, it is anticipated that the project will be completed by March of 2020.

We anticipate providing two or three skilled plumbers to be assigned to this project, which will include:

• Engineering and Design-Build Services for Interior Plumbing Systems
• Securing of State and Local Permits
• New Roof Drains
• Overflows
• Toilet Room
• ACO Heavy Duty Trench Drain

Coordinating work duties and scheduling presented some unique challenges as the existing facility remained open and we needed to avoid any interruptions in service. Lee’s skilled trades workers had to remain cognizant of existing work spaces, vehicular traffic and owners work patters. Avoiding production disruptions was tantamount to our responsibilities as we completed our work.
