Lee Mechanical delivered a highly specialized electrical installation for Forefront Dermatology, reinforcing its position as an industry leader in electrical contracting.
Drawing on decades of experience, the team provided custom, high-performance electrical solutions designed to support the facility’s advanced clinical and laboratory operations. From robust power distribution to precision lighting systems, every aspect of the project reflected Lee Mechanical’s commitment to quality, innovation, and execution excellence.
Originality in construction methods was a defining element of this project. Working within constrained spaces and an aggressive 12-week schedule, Lee Mechanical developed creative, site-specific solutions to overcome logistical and technical challenges. Custom installation sequences, project-specific tooling, and innovative prefabrication strategies were implemented to improve safety, streamline workflows, and enhance installation quality. The team also adapted standard materials and systems to meet complex design requirements, successfully integrating redundant power infrastructure, modular systems, and advanced electrical components tailored to the facility’s unique demands.
Quality of workmanship was evident throughout the project. All electrical installations were executed with strict adherence to national and local codes, ensuring long-term safety and reliability. Conduit runs were clean and symmetrical, wiring was meticulously routed and labeled, and fixtures were installed with precision and care. Beyond technical excellence, Lee Mechanical coordinated seamlessly with other trades, maintained a clean and organized job site, and consistently met critical milestones, delivering a finished product that was both functional and visually refined.
The project’s technical complexity was significant. Lee Mechanical installed a new 1600A, 480V, 3-phase service to support high-powered lab equipment and integrated owner-provided systems including dual generators, UPS systems, bus duct runs, transfer switches, fire alarm interfaces, and redundant power systems. The work required precise terminations, advanced grounding and protection systems, and careful coordination within an active facility. Despite space limitations, hazardous conditions, and schedule pressures, the team remained agile, adjusting sequencing and resources to ensure successful delivery.
Technology played a critical role in project success. Building Information Modeling (BIM) was used extensively for design coordination, clash detection, and construction planning. BIM enabled accurate visualization of electrical systems, supported off-site prefabrication, and reduced rework during installation. Prefabricated electrical assemblies and plug-and-play components improved safety, reduced waste, and accelerated construction while maintaining exceptional quality control.
Through a combination of forward-thinking construction techniques, disciplined execution, and technological integration, Lee Mechanical delivered a smart, efficient, and reliable electrical solution for Forefront Dermatology. The project stands as a clear example of how innovation, precision, and craftsmanship come together to exceed client expectations and set a higher standard for modern electrical construction.
