A Day in the Life with Jason Morrow

Jason Morrow, Service Salesman

At Lee Mechanical, no two days look the same for Jason Morrow. With over 28 years of industry experience and more than two years on the Lee team, Jason works as a Service Salesman—a role that sits at the intersection of technical expertise and customer relationships. Jason handles a wide range of responsibilities—from service contracts and equipment replacements to urgent facility repairs. His day often starts with job site visits and customer meetings, helping assess needs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.

"What I do here at Lee is I work hand in hand with customers. I do jobsite visits, I look at new equipment replacements, repairs—any needs that any customer has regarding the facility."

My name is Jason Morrow. I’m a Service Salesman here at Lee Mechanical, and I’ve been with the company for about two and a half years.
The projects I work on vary quite a bit—from service contracts and scheduled maintenance to emergency repairs and full equipment replacements. I handle just about anything a customer needs for their HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or control systems.
A typical day starts with checking in on current jobs and heading out to customer sites. I’ll meet with facility managers, look at equipment, and assess what repairs or replacements might be needed. Every day brings a new challenge, whether it’s troubleshooting an issue or quoting a new system upgrade.
My favorite part of the job is meeting new customers and visiting new facilities. I enjoy learning about how different businesses operate and figuring out how we can help keep their systems running smoothly.
I rely a lot on our internal estimating and service management software, along with digital tools for site evaluations and quoting. Lee gives us access to the latest technology, which makes it easier to provide accurate, efficient service to our customers.
What sets Lee apart is the level of technology and the amount of talent within these walls. No matter what you’re working on, there’s always someone here who can help you get it done right—and the leadership really supports us in doing that.
The crew here is one of the best I’ve worked with in my 28 years. The craftsmanship, dedication, and pride they bring to the job every day really set Lee apart from other contractors.
I enjoy meeting new customers, working with great coworkers, and being able to share what I’ve learned over the years with the next generation coming into the trade. Seeing them succeed is really rewarding.
If you’re considering joining Lee, I’d say do it. This is one of the best places I’ve worked in my career. The company gives you the tools, technology, and support you need to succeed—and they truly value the people who work here.
