Project Overview
Lee began work for Ohio-based Dayton Freight Lines in the fall of 2018. Construction on the new truck terminal located in Racine County, included a dedicated team of tradespeople, including eight Lee technicians (four plumbers and four electricians) spent nearly a year on the project.
The buildings contain 129 truck docs, a 2-story office building, maintenance building, fuel dispensing bays and truck washing bays. Lee team members handled installation of all plumbing for three bathrooms, and multiple drinking fountains and eyewash stations. The team also ran natural gas piping and all compressed air piping throughout the new building. The main purpose of the 110,000 sq. ft. building is to serve as a repair facility for Dayton’s fleet of semi trucks.
